ISKCON Bhavnagar is a vibrant spiritual, cultural, and Vedic educational center. We are a part of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), a worldwide organization founded in 1966 by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada.

Located in the western part of Gujarat, our center serves as a spiritual home for thousands of devotees, seekers, and visitors who come to find peace, purpose, and a deeper meaning in life.

Our Mission

Our primary mission is to share the timeless teachings of Lord Sri Krishna, as presented in the Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam. We understand this to be the essence of all Vedic literature.

We aim to propagate this message through Harinama Sankirtan—the congregational chanting of the Lord’s holy names. Our goal is to promote a simple, natural, and spiritually-focused lifestyle that benefits all living beings.

Life at Our Center

Like ISKCON centers worldwide, we host a wide range of activities designed to help one experience the joy of Krishna consciousness. These include:

• Japa (Chanting): Personal meditation on the holy names.

• Kirtan (Singing) & Nrutya (Dancing): Joyful congregational worship.

• Puja (Worship): Daily worship ceremonies for the Deities.

• Abhyas (Study): Regular classes and discussions on divine scriptures like the Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, and Ramayana.

• Mahaprasad: Offering and distribution of pure, sanctified Krishna Prasad.

• Educational Programs: We run a Prahlada School for children and provide Vedic cultural education for youth to help guide them in life.

• Other Services: Many other forms of devotional service that nourish the soul.
